Learned some really interesting stuff and useful, easy to learn, moves. Had an absolute blast! Would highly recommend!

9 month curriculum

Sessions follow a nine-month plan that repeats on a loop. You can start any week and catch the rest as it comes around.

Every new student starts in the Fundamentals programme, so the right techniques are learned in the right order and good habits stick before things get harder.

Common questions

My child will move up an age group soon. Which one should I book?

We usually suggest booking the higher age group. Your child can then keep the same session and friends.

If their size or needs may affect the choice, contact us. We will help you pick the right group.

What if I can only make one session a week?

We recommend two sessions each week. This helps students learn new moves and remember them.

If you can only attend once, contact us. A short-term once-a-week membership may be available.

Do we need the same session every week?

Children keep the same weekly slot. This helps us keep each group at a safe size.

You do not need to book again each week.

Adults can attend any adult session. They do not need to book ahead.

What if I miss a week?

Adults can return at the next session that suits them.

Children cannot usually take another session if they miss one.

Tell us before the session. We may have another time free that week.

Contact us and we will check. Please read our policies for full details.

How do gradings work?

Belt promotion events run every quarter and are not included in your monthly fees.

A coloured belt grading costs £30. Black belt testing fees are higher, but for most students that is several years away.
